Just a few days ago Greek Wine Portal (www.greekwine.biz) has published a presentation about the Argyros Estate in Santorini.
Estate Argyros was established in 1903 by Georgios Argyros, in a 5 acres vineyard located in Episkopi Gonia Thiras (Santorini). Georgios Argyros made his wines according to the traditional Santorinian way, in order to take advantage of the grapes produced by his own vineyard. The wines produced were sold mainly in the local market.

GWP Greek Wine Portal winery presentation

The Greek wine portal (GWP) published the Kir Yianni winery presentation.
GWP is dedicated to promote Greek wines through the Internet and bring as much information as possible to its visitors.
It is still a young website but it looks like there is some work behind it after all.
Winery of the month for May is the Kir Yianni estate from Naoussa.
We hope to see more like this in the future!!!
GWP also rates the wines that are on the portal and in the future there should be a database with the most important Greek wines available for all to access.

We know that for the next month Greek Wine Portal is going to have one of Santorini island top wineries as the “Winery of the month”…

The first two are already on line.
