Dear visitors and friends.I had the pleasure to go to the movies yesterday.I saw the too much advertised movie “2012″.I was thrilled the movie had the most amazing effects I ever seen.The script the was OK and kept you on the edge almost all the time.A few scenes were a bit corny but still for a Hollywood movie it was very good.
About the year 2012 I made a small research and what I found out is that still scientists have not found out exactly the dates of ancient Mayans that match with our date system.An other thing is that there is going to be a planet allignment that is true but there is no indication of such devastation.
In general the movie had unlimited funds for advertising and a very clever way to do it.
“….if you do not belive us look the number 2012 up on the internet” a few million did and more went to watch the movie.
I am also very happy to have the ability to watch such movies here in Santorini at this time of year.The Villagio cinema is very nice and clean and offers a true modern cinema experience.

I went to see this movie and I have to say although the special effects were good I thought the over all it wasn’t very good.
I saw it I loved it sure the plot needs a little work but the effects were unreal!
