A few days ago the first bank robbery took place in Santorini.Two armed robbers entered the National Bank in Fira when it was full of customers and stole about 50.000 Euro.They escaped with a blue motorbike wearing helmets.A few hours later the Police have found the bike in a vine field near Karterados.The bike was also stolen with license plate from a n other stolen bike.The police authorities believe that the bank robbery is connected to the armored track robbery a few days ago ( 90.000 Euro where stolen from the track).
All Santorini island is on alert and a lot of road blocks allows the police to check almost every car and bike on the island.
We hope that they will catch the robbers soon.
My friend just told me about this yesterday, I wonder why it didn’t make national news…
I’m sure the police will catch those malakas soon, after all it’s an island! Where can they escape to?!
